It is not a joke. When I activated Vetter Mountain (W6/CT-021), I climbed lookout tower on the top of the mountain. It is a fully stuffed lookout tower and the stuff member gave me a card with the next statement: “This Certified that on 11/10/2023 OLEH KERNYTSKYY climbed Vetter Mountain Lookout Tower guarding the Angeles National Forest against fire, and therefore a recognized member of the ANCIENT AND HONORABLE ORDER OF SQUIRRELS [Signature]”.

I too, am a member of the Ancient and Honorable Order of Squirrels. But my card came from Ashley, the Lookout Ranger in the last working Lookout in Colorado; Devils Head, W0C/FR-051. Nice to hear from a fellow squirrel. Maybe we could coordinate a S2S sometime; Squirrel-to-Squirrel?
