Good evening! I’ve been a technician for almost 20 years now and not terribly active. I earned my ticket about the time that my father stopped being active and so I never really pursued an upgrade. Not long ago I inherited a good amount of his equipment (and call sign) and at the same time learned that a very good childhood friend was a super active ham. So now I’m in the process of setting up a “shack,” and intend to upgrade to General shortly. And with the help and advice of KK6WT I’m putting together a SOTA/POTA kit.
Looking forward to making a few activations… hope we get a chance to QSO !
