Two things caught me.
1st Was the Voice being wrong.
2nd Propagation from Scotland during this time of year is RARE on 20m.

I worked him on the 27th, 17M SSB. Too bad it wasn’t a SOTA!
But he had a good signal in CA. We don’t hear JW very often out here.
