SOTA is what got me excited about ham radio, and got me out of the house exploring great new places. It’s also been fun to incorporate POTA while on a summit, or at local state park.
Heard from a new recent PNW SOTA activator that various videos helped finally encourage him to get out the the shack and on a summit. Other recent conversations from people interested in starting SOTA/POTA led to create this video…maybe one more piece of encouragement for those wanting to try your first SOTA!
