Info Needed APRS to SOTA Spot

I am looking for any and all information on utilizing an APRS radio to self spot for my activations. Any information is greatly appreciated!

Thanks for the info Roger.
I tried this and it posted to sotawatch perfectly using an older Kenwood THD7E.
Next time I will set the 4 hour window a bit later as I ran out of time
that I could use it on the summit.

Anyway, thanks for posting.
