Activation with many unexpected surprises.
At the top the traces of a medieval construction.
Going down, the ruins of a castle destroyed in 1298 and never rebuilt.
Then, at the base of the summit, the village of Cantarino, once inhabited by miners and their families, about 300 people.
Today about 10 live in Cantarino, so it looks like a ghost village.
Around these places the signs of the sulfur mines, active from 1886 until 1959 when they were definitively closed.
