Activation of I/LO-333 Monte Bolettone (1320m ASL) after a 55 mins hike to the summit, today. Unfortunately I had AA battery failure and my FT817 went dead, after completing only one HF CW qso on 40m band with the @IK2LEY Fabio. I completed the activation with 13 FM QSOs on 2m with 2 S2S with @IU2IJW Martino and his YL IU2IJX . Pretty cold and cloudy weather, forced me to descend after 1 hour of operation. I need to investigate now what happened to my AA batteries, time for a LIFePo ?
