Hi All
a friend of mine pointed me to this program
I don’t find anything about it on the Reflector.
Did anyone try it out and can you tell us more if it works OK for SOTA chasing ?

Just use the SOTA Cluster in your logging program as you would use an oridinary DX cluster in a logging program… There are SOTA chasers using it with their logging program and they can click on the spots in SOTA Cluster and their logging program tunes the radio, turns the beam and logs the contact.
By chance I tried it out today. It’s been built for POTA, and has lots of features for POTA. SOTA has been recently added. I’m sure it’ll get better for SOTA over time.
It think it’s great for POTA hunting as I struggle with their spotting system whereby people respot the activator and the list jumps around all over the place.
As Andy says, adding the SOTA cluster to your logging program is probably a lot better. Assuming your logging program of choice accepts that. Think it’s cluster.sota.org.uk port 7300.
Otherwise clicking the log button on sotawatch and then downloading later for your log program is an easy way.
For completeness, here’s a cluster that does just SOTA and POTA:
pota-cluster.iz2lsc.eu port 7373 (telnet)
