You really do have to wonder about the naming of some of these:
This beaut in Canada. In honour of the Incredible Hulk perhaps?:

And finally, in Tazzy:
The fourth one moved to Glencoe!
The closest to a giggle around here might be Dickwood Lake.

But there is a summit here for the 220 MHz band: 1.25 Meter Hill. Tagged W1/AM-220 so the region manager was awake. In spite of the name it is 2221 feet (677 meters). No activations yet. Certainly on private timber land, i.e. permission would be required from a risk-averse corporation.
Hi again, Gullible here.
The name on Open Street Maps is “Knights Pond Hill”, not “1.25 Meter Hill”.

It’s not a well known fact, but the word “Gullible” is not to be found in any English language dictionary.
…it’s in the Britannica Dictionary- definition of GULLIBLE
and the Canbridge Dictionary- Meaning of gullible in English

Provides an element of humour to break up the day ![]()
When I was a 13yo English school boy I thought all adults were grown up and sensible. Having been one for many years I am delighted to say that very few are.
It’s not a hill, but as I was walking out from GM/SS-163, I did thankfully stay far enough away from Backside Burn, not sure if that’s from the same epoch as @EI3LH’s Tubbercurry and Ringaskiddy?
Pairs nicely with this summit!
