Those with long memories will remember the old Russian satellites that had HF transponders and the original OSCAR satellites that had 2m<>10m transponders. There are plans for 2 new Chinese satellites to be launched this Autumn and one will have a 15m<>10m transponder.
QSOs via satellite are legal for SOTA so this could be quite an interesting development. If everything works people will be able to have QSOs using 13cms/3cms via QO-100 and 15m/10m via this new satellite, CAS-7.
