Heading off to Ireland for vacation and a few SOTA activations

Start listening for me after three days in Dublin on Saturday, Sept 19. I plan to be traveling around for 17 days and hope to put out a few calls on some local summits. I will post ahead of time.

Hi Don,

Have a good trip in EI. I noticed that are only 4 EI/IE summits that are unactivated, that is until any new summits get added to this region. These are:

EI/IE-040
EI/IE-042
EI/IE-049
EI/IE-059

These all look to be accessible, so maybe you could include these 4 summit to activate and then every summit in EI/IE will be activated and this will then be the only region in EI with all summit activated until any new summits get added to this region.

Be listening out for you don’t forget 7200 is the limit over here and of course enjoy

Thanks. I am mostly a CW operator but will bring my mic and try a few SSB contacts. I better study and band plan for EI. I’ll use 7.175 for SSB and 7.033 for CW on 40.
