HB9SOTA will conduct it’s first snowshoe hike for this winter season.
Klewenstock, HB/NW-018 is in a ski resort and reachable via a official snowshoe trail. The weather report looks very promising, we expect sunshine and enough snow to enjoy the snowshoe hike.
Most activators will arrive at the summit around noon. Chasers, please watch out for spots, and help everybody to enjoy their activation and qualify for their points, which include a winter bonus.
Of course, we will activate our special Call sign HB20SOTA. There will be activators on HF and VHF in CW, SSB and FM, so there should be an opportunity for everyone to have QSOs towards our jubilee award.
