HB15SOTA Anniversary call sign

Using the special call sign HB15SOTA, we are celebrating the 15th anniversary of HB9SOTA. This call sign is in effect from 9 May 2020 until 8 May 2021. An Anniversary Certificate associated with this call sign is being issued at no charge by the Swiss SOTA Group to radio amateurs (chasers) and summit-2-summit chasers in the following three categories:
- Alpenrose (6 cantons)
- Enzian (14 cantons)
- Edelweiss (every canton with a summit, i.e. 24 cantons)
The number in parentheses states the number of cantons needed for each award level. You can apply for your Anniversary Certificate on the Swiss SOTA Group website (HB15SOTA Diplom – HB9SOTA), and it is being distributed to all qualified hams at no charge.
The Swiss telecom authorities (BAKOM) have placed certain restrictions on the use of the call sign: it may be used only once per band at any given time, and stations outside of Switzerland may not use the HB15SOTA call sign. The special call contains 8 characters, and thus we have decided not to use the suffix /p during activations.

HB15SOTA-Jubiläumscall
Mit dem Sonderrufzeichen HB15SOTA wird das 15-jährige Bestehen von HB9SOTA während eines Jahres vom 9. Mai 2020 bis zum 8. Mai 2021 gefeiert. Das mit dem Sonderrufzeichen verbundene Jubiläumsdiplom der SOTA Gruppe Schweiz wird für Funkamateure (Chaser) und Summit-to-Summit-Jägerin in folgende drei Stufen herausgegeben:
• Alpenrose (6 Kantone)
• Enzian (14 Kantone)
• Edelweiss (Alle Kantone mit Summits, d.h. aktuell 24 Kantone)
In Klammer steht die Anzahl der erforderlichen Kantone. Das Jubiläumsdiplom kann über die Website der SOTA Gruppe Schweiz direkt beantragt werden (HB15SOTA Diplom – HB9SOTA). Es ist für alle Funkamateure kostenlos.
Die Aufsichtsbehörde in der Schweiz (BAKOM) schreibt vor, dass das Sonderrufzeichzen gleichzeitig nur einmal pro Band verwendet werden darf. Ferner ist es nicht erlaubt, HB15SOTA im Ausland benutzen. Das Call HB15SOTA enthält 8 Zeichen. Daher verzichten wir bei Bergaktivierungen auf den Rufzeichenzusatz /p.
