Handling of lowercase summit codes on SOTAmaps

Hi Andrew @VK3ARR

There are many links on the various SOTA sites containing links to tracks on SOTAmaps. Some of them contain a summit code in lowercase. The SOTAmaps site doesn’t open the mentioned track then, but presents a pop-up window mentioning that the requested association doesn’t exist. Such links had been entered longer time ago and went well bevor the SSO implementation afaik.

Example: there is a link to a track on the Summit page for HB/OW-010.

Is it possible to modify the input checker of the SOTAmaps website to accept also referring URLs with summit references in lowercase (or mixed uppercase/lowercase in case of a typo)?

(The regular way to select a track via the pulldown menus is not affected.)

Thanks in advance for verifying and vy 73 de Markus, HB9DIZ

Probably, either via a rewrite rule or in the code. I’ll add it to the list

Should be fixed now.
