Google Earth .kml File?

Hi,

Right now I’m sitting in South Wales (GW) and I’m trying to find out which SOTA might be closest to me. On Hiking in the mountains: tips for beginner hikers - Mountain Day you can search from your location but sometimes you are not exactly sure where your holiday will bring you. The same database offers a .kml file for each summit. Is there a way to get one .kml file for either a “region within association” or the whole “association”?
For South Wales I downloaded each individual .kml file for all 41 summits and the re-aranged them into one .kml file; but that’s not fun if you are dealing with Western Scotland and 347 summits …
Any ideas?

PS: on 25.12.08 I quickly climbed Sugar Loaf (GW/SW-011) but I had not rig with me (stayed back in HB)

Nigel,

Tnx for your reply but I can’t find “file galleries” on your webpage. Or do I have to register and log in?

Hi, Yes I think you do need to register/login. Its not my webpage, but a very good source of summit info.

The file is also here:

You also need to register/login for Yahoo.
