Apologies to chasers for the sudden QRT today. The wind came up very quickly and blew my mast over to 45 degrees. I decided I needed to bail before the wind got any worse.

Thanks to all the chasers I was able to work. Catch you on the next one I hope.

It would have been a very long walk down and round to retrieve your mast Denis!

Loved the photos you shared on the WhatsApp group. Looks like the weather should be good for you the rest of tbe week…

Thanks for the QSO. I made about 40 altogether but had a pileup going on 10m when the mast went over and my sudden QRT.

My fear isn’t a falling mast as such… but it’s the radio going with it for a joy ride. :face_with_peeking_eye:
