It’s 10:35 UTC on Saturday 30th June 2007 and I just worked Rob GD4RQJ/p on GD-001 Snafell. The sun is shining but it is very windy up there. Rob has quite a pile-up and sixty metres is running well inter UK. Peter ON3WAB says he is 5/5 in Belgium. Rob is laughing as Audrey chases the logbook that has been blown away in the wind. There will be no PSK because Rob left the laptop in the car, but he says will give it a go on 40m CW. Barry MW3PXW is on 70cms asking Mike GW0DSP if he will ask Rob to do 7 SSB or 2m FM.
I am just going to jump in the TARDIS and go back to see if I can get the spot in before Alistair GW0VMW.
The truth? Only time will tell.
