Oooo! I know that summit Andy. I parked there when I did it
GM/ES-028 is in my top 5 of easiest 4-pointers. I suspect it’s the route you take! My route took less than an hour and was very straightforward.
Morven is still my hardest but maybe as it was my first 4-pointer, and perhaps when I do it again it won’t be so bad.
Which half of the completion is needed? Has Fraser activated all these so he just needs to chase them?
Yes. He’s done all 88 out of 87 summits.
Officialy I need to chase them. Happier with a S2S though, as per this afternoon. Climbed Benaquahallie GM/ES-065 in jeans and my work shirt for a S2S with @GM5ALX Alex, who was on GM/ES-022.
Thanks Alex! 27 to go.
thank goodness for the rab jacket. Freezing and windy
spare radio and real radio
Thanks for the list - I’m hoping to get a chance to get up to ES in the spring and with so many hills to choose from it would be a pity not to include at least one EFI complete, so if you hear something with an English accent and what at first sounds like a modulation problem which then becomes apparent that it is canine problem its G4IPB and Woody… As I still have 87 ES summits to choose from the list of how hard the 4 pointers are will be really useful. Finally Alex’s apps might have the effect of getting me motivated in Python. There is a lot of rust to knock off my coding skills but it might keep some grey matter active. 73 (for now). Paul
Sure was chilly on GM/ES-022 today!
SOTA is a fun dataset to play about with and helps feed the obsession in the evenings Nice rust joke too.
FT60 FTW!
Too much sun in ES today
