It’s been -5C early mornings recently at base level and not got above +2C all day in my village, so dress warm for summits of SCP and HS tomorrow. Will try to work you on 80m groundwave if I’m around.

We’ve had around an inch of snow at ground level in Windermere this morning, so you may have struggled to reach the top of Kirkstone Pass - typically the pass will receive at least triple the snow compared to the valleys.
I’ve been up there once behind a snow plough/gritter and the snow was around 750mm in places!

at least I managed to drive it back at 40mpg in limp mode all the way! I nearly ended up having to pop the tent up to sleep in
