Yes. People (including me) have been saying for years that Yahoogroups would be shut down and that became inevitable once Verizon bought Yahoo.

Thanks to Martyn, the posts are now safe. Nobody has been accessing them for years so we have plenty of time to do a bit of scripting to clean them up and either put them somewhere or look at importing them into the overall reflector threads.
wget would have done this particular job equally well. I tend to choose curl but both tools are useful.
