Interesting… the access to the wind farm tracks is not restricted and the actual summit is not on the restricted area. You should be legal to walk the wind farm track then follow the access land boundary to the edge of the 330m contour which places you in the AZ and unrestricted access land.

I did think about activating in that area but decided not to as my brain was pretty fried from driving 
I’ll save it for another stopover to/from Scotland 
I agree with you Andy, which makes me feel the temporary closures are probably agricultural and not wind farm related.
Of course the public right of way footpath (that I usually follow) is unaffected by any temporary CROW closure. But you would need to deviate from it into the (now temporarily closed) open-access part to get into the AZ of the summit (my usual route in dashed red).
Anyone desperate to activate the summit during the 3 remaining 5-day closures, could - as I think you were implying- take the ‘green’ route to the summit.
I don’t know though if you would have to scale a wall from where you leave the Windfarm-owned part of the open-access (that’s not closed)

Off topic a bit…
Does that phone number cover the whole of the UK or is just England? or local to Cumbria?
I went to activate Bryn Amlwg earlier in the year and found signs up saying the access land and PROWs were all closed. Reported to Powys County Council but haven’t heard anything back.
I would suggest England and Wales.
