I had a browse on Hobby King to see what was on offer and was intrigued by these AA sized LiPo cells. Each cell is 1.5V and LiPo is a 3.7V nominal technology. I’m assuming there is a buck converter in cell to get the voltage down to 1.5V along with USB charger.
I’m not sure I’d punt £20 to see how well they work but would mayeb punt £10 for two and see how they go in the GPS.
