F6HBI/P Shut-down suddenly

Hello, just to explain why i stopped answering suddenly yesterday while on f/am-375.
I use a 9 meters mast from Wimo to set-up my inverted V dipole.
Yesterday a strong Wind started to blow so strong, that one element of the mast has broken and the antenna dropped on the ground.
I spent 20mn mending (electrical and mechanical); i could not use 40m band because of that. sorry.
Now i must found another antenna system or mend this mast properly for the next Sota activity.

I wondered what happened as you were a strong signal - so thanks for letting us know. I have been in some windy situations with my pole bending over alarmingly but so far I have not had a snap event!

So for the mast I use the 600 Telepocket from Decath… Garanty 3 years… So a new one all the 2 years an half !!! hiii…
