This activation was canceled today. There was 0 - 5 cm of new powder snow and the temperatures were negative. I reached about 2470 m altitude. After that it seemed like a rock climbing on rather fragile rocks. In addition it had taken me already about 5 hours to reach that point. This is a little problematic when the day light is only 11 - 12 hours. Otherwise sunny weather and lots of fresh air

Hi Jack,
We wanted to go in mountain in Mercantour but 30 cm snws falls saturday in the night ! So I went at 1600 m ! no snows but frozencold at 9 oclock morning !
