Can’t make this one but would love to get a notification about about next one! kk6tmn@gmail.com.
I’ll check alerts, maybe I can chase Sat.

Keep an eye on the nasota mailing list (nasota.groups.io). We’ll make announcements there first.

Hope to get you in the log as a chaser!

Planning to make the rough trip across the bridge and looking forward to meeting people!

For the second Bay Area Meetup we met at Mr Pickles in San Rafael (yeah, not a breakfast place but good sandwiches!). Despite some parking difficulties due to a bike race, six of us were able to attend. We had a slightly different group this time: Rex KE6MT, Jeff AA6XA, Dmitry N6DNM, Austin K6ABM, Elliot K6EL, and Joe AA0BV. We enjoyed our sandwiches on the plaza and discussed all things radio. Afterwards a few of us were able to go up some nearby mountains.

K6ABM hiked up San Pedro Mountain, KE6MT went up Vollmer Peak, and AA6XA hiked up Pine Mountain. Eventually we all managed summit-to-summit contacts on 2 meters. K6ABM and AA6XA had more time, and both worked chasers on HF.

Everyone had fun, and it was a beautiful afternoon for activating afterwards. Keep an eye on this mailing list for the announcement of the next meetup. Hope you’ll be able to join us!
