Please join me in congratulating Éric on achieving 3000 activator points on 5 June 2026 with his activation of W1/HA-120 Mount Jefferson (part of a double activation day with W1/HA-093 Mount Adams). I had the privilege of hiking and activating with Éric on his 3x MG day and better yet, the privilege of getting to know him through SOTA.
Éric is Canada’s first activator to reach 3000 points. Since beginning SOTA, he has logged 439 activations, 12112 activator QSOs, and 9004 S2S points.

After 7 years of participating in SOTA, I still enjoy it as much as on my first day!
I think that a group of amateur radio operators in the UK created this program for me several years ago
