Drive on(or close by) summits GM/SS area

Back to Cairnpapple tomorrow with newly purchased 2M band filter hopefully it’ll go better this time.

try over near the trig point, that worked for me on 2m.
Maybe catch you s2s depending on the timing.

Hardly time to get out breath Andy :laughing: 30’ or less from the Hause, last time `i did it.

I don’t think any of our local ‘summits’ are much easier or quicker - unless you count g/tw-004 and 005

PS I agree though, that for their hight, they are rather windswept. I’ll be activating Little Mell next week, possibly around dusk just for the fun (I think :roll_eyes:)

Thanks for making us aware of the tags. I see in some later posts that you explain how to add the tags (and these instructions are pretty clear). I notice the tags show up as icons when looking at specific summits (for example Walbury Hill is marked as an easy walk with potential access issues). Is there a way to search or filter summits, by tag? For example, if I wanted to only look for cycle friendly summits in the mainland UK?

Forgive me if there is an obvious way to do this that I’ve overlooked, but I’d appreciate some guidance as I’d like to plan a set of summits for next year that are potentially accessible by public transport or cycling.
