Just worked HB9VK on the 17m band. He was using his apartments gutter and drain pipe as an antenna with some sort of ferrite, which was connected to his home brew transceiver. From what I can gather he’s not allowed antennas on his apartment. Nice bit of improvisation though. Difficult to copy at first with his 20 watts, but the signal did creep up, making him very workable.
