There are many summits along Skyline Drive that are easy to hit in a single day. When I lived in Maryland, I liked to hit Hawksbill, Stony Man, and sometimes Hogback in one pass. How many you can do depends on how early you get started, and how much time you spend on the summits. Getting the set-up and tear-down process worked out helps quite a bit as well, as long as you don’t forget anything…
