Does "Big Spacing" refer to Morse Code format?

Pardon my ignorance. When an activator posts an ALERT which includes the phrase “Big Spacing Please” I assume this refers to Morse Code format with extended spacing between individual characters? Or is it something else…just asking.

I believe you are right. they want letters sent at a reasonable speed, with larger than “standard” gaps between letters. This kind of spacing is used by the so-called Farnsworth timing, which is a learning aid.

Yes, it means to add a little more spacing b/w letters (less then a word, but more than normal?) . My guess is that person (and I think I know who it is  ) is looking for spacing on the callsigns when you call them…
