Tut, tut, Peter. How could you suggest such a thing. The camera may not lie, but digital processing can do such terrible things. My explanation would be a bad choice of camera angle and exactly the wrong moment.

I am pleased to say the one on the left is Carolyn (G6WRW) not me! While she has been known to imbibe various alcohol beverages, that day she was quite sober. There is a much better picture on her qrz.com profile.
That picture was at a geocaching event back at the beginning of August, our other hobby,

I’ve just done a quick calculation. I know when G6W calls were issued. I know how old you had to be get a licence when G6W calls were issued. But you don’t look that old. In fact, I’d suggest somewhere between 1dBYears to 3dbYears younger!
