Do awards support SOTA indirectly ?

I apologize for a possibly dumb question.

I am not an award chaser (besides the coveted Mountain Goat :wink:) but I wondered if buying/getting the intermediate awards (especially in PDF format) is a way to support SOTA.org.uk and its infrastructure.

Each time I query the database or submit a log I am impressed by the performance and the work that is behind. This forum also has its cost. Thus my question about contributing back via that mechanism.

The answer to your question is clearly YES. Awards, trophies, merchandising and donations are all different ways to support and help paying the bills.
