like so often before i had seen a wrong spot on SOTAwatch today.
In the time between 11:30 and 13:30 UTC i was on Hofberg,
the correct reference was DA/BM-448, NOT DM/BM-373 !!
Between 09:45 and 10:20 i activated Büscherl with the old reference DM/BM-373, but i am not sure, is this mountain deleted from SOTA list, or not . . .
the new reference for Büscherl is now DA/BM-272 !!
If you are not sure about the spot, pse have a look an GMA watch on the cqGMA. website , there are the correct spots.

If you can spot it on SOTAwatch then it is a valid summit.

Rather than confuse people with concerns about deletions, just look it up yourself. If you do that then you’ll know the status and you will know what to write about its status.

If you are doing multiple summits and trying to place alerts with short windows you WILL fail and mess up the spots. Place a wildcard alert and the problem goes away. This problem you see “so often” is caused by the activator themselves and nobody else.

DA/BM-272 is not a valid reference for SOTA so telling people that the summit has a new reference when it doesn’t just adds more confusion to your incorrect spots from earlier.

You can say that more kindly.
