I managed to make a video of Klaus and a few chasers working KW2FLY/AM today.

The quality is pretty bad as the case on my iPad was covering part of the lens!!
It could be the first summit to plane QSO, you never know.

thanks nice video. at first call by him i was a bit confused about that /AM.
He was 9+30db and i thinked he was over my head at that time Nice that you also worked him then. i went qrt after finished with KW2FLY/AM to give others the chance to work him. no problem, time to set up my vertical dipole because the inv.L. worked not good on 20m…the video is nice, but the english language from the sota op is not so good but mostly enough to do some qso´s

Hello Klaus, I learned German at school hundreds of years ago but did not practice which I now regret. I would be very happy to have your level in German.
Martin in the plane would have been on a 29 or 30,000 feet flight line so big ‘summit’, big signal!

Yes, no longer use of the /P from me. i don´t need that. some like that, some not. if you hear me i´m 100% on a summit on a sota activation and sometimes for the GMA. i use the limited time this year for hamradio only to do sota. in sota you have all what you need…a lot of friendly chasers around the world on all bands…what do you need more ? never alone on a band with calling CQ…
so i declared my local summits to my shack. so i´m a bit at home there if i´m operating Thats the why…

I was called by KA1GJU/AM flying a Boeing 737-800 over New Mexico when in the States last year which was a surprise.
I don’t think I’m the first summit to aircraft though.
