There seems to be an issue with pulling data from the database. If I go to SOTA Database and display “All W”, none of the results for the W9 activators are displayed.

Barry,
This is a well known problem. On the NASOTA reflector see Andy’s post in msg #14913. I know Andy has posted here also. It’s on his list but other “priorities” get in the way.

A number of bug fixes have stacked up. Whilst we have been experiencing some database stability issues with the host I’ve been reluctant to change anything. We’ll see how the new server goes for a few weeks and if it looks OK then I can do some updates including:
All W and All VK missing some associations
TSV upload in V2 format fails
Comments in V2 uploads forced to upper case
12m Challenge score calculation inaccurate
V2 format not explained on web pages
Menus not working on some Android tablets/phones
plus others.

So far Andy, everything is looking great here in Pennsylvania. Even the W9 column is working. Thanks 73 de Scotty

Hi Andy, here is a reminder of one more bug for your list: activations of W6 association summits need to be rescored.
In most cases the indicated scores are too high because the system has been crediting winter bonus points when the summit was not eligible for any bonus points as per the criteria in our ARM. The scores for K6EL and KF7PXT are good examples as their bonus points make up almost 50% of their indicated scores, but none of their bonus points are actually valid.
In my case, my indicated score is too low because I wasn’t credited the winter bonus points for my Dec 31 2011 activation of W6/CN-006. I don’t know of any other instances of an activator’s indicated score being too low, but there may be some.
The rescoring won’t affect chaser scores as this is only an issue with activator bonus points. Again, this is not a high priority issue but something that may make sense to address in conjunction with one that is.

Maybe Matt and I can keep our points based on Lifetime Achievement or just for being good guys??

Not sure if this is one of the others, but “SOTA complete” is counting summits more than once.
Wondered why my score had miraculously doubled!

In reply to G4ISJ:
Ooooh yes! My “SOTA complete” score is now about five times its correct value. In fact, I have “completed” G/SE-002 twenty-five times alone.

Ah… I can guess why there may be some issues, I’ll sort it when I get a moment later.
(note to self: don’t upload SOTADATABASE-TestIdeas version of the code but SOTADATABASE-release version instead)
However, the menus are working on my Android phone since we moved server. Must be a .NET thing.

SOTA Complete should be working now.
I’ve pushed a couple of VK activation photos into the pool of photos that are selected at random for the home page.

Hmmm, yes. I didn’t realise how “complete” I was until I looked at the table - and all VHF as well as I keep my HF chasing separate. If only there were more 2m SSB activators to chase, I could get really interested in going out up a local lump to have a shot at All G SOTA Complete. Now that floats my boat much more than any 24MHz Challenge…
