Is it just me that can’t access the Database? 73 all John.

Tony
Yes.
working here de W6LEN
If you have problems then first you can see if the SOTA systems are reporting any problems by checking out: https://status.sota.org.uk/
Or you can use “Down For Me” to see if it’s you/your ISP or everyone having problems:
https://downforeveryoneorjustme.com
Database is not accessable for me.
K3TCU
SOTALinks to Database=Blank page
Database access works from my iphone but not working on my iMac.
We’ll figure it out
K3tcu
And what does “https://downforeveryoneorjustme.com” say from your iMac?
You can access by Sotl.as > Summit SOTLAS and here working ok
Eric
Thanks Eric! It appears to be device related for me. ok on iphone but lost it on iMac.
Gary
Gary, using the down detector service shows that the website is doing something for people.
So is there an issue from you to your ISP to our servers?
Next you check that you can reach the servers by going to “status.sota.org.uk”. If that shows status for the services and that the database is up then you know it’s not the route from your PC to the server but must be your PC.
Try clearing your browser cache and trying again in that case.
The problem for me since this morning is
Example > worked all ON reference
If I check on Sotadata I got this
Zero chased
But on Sot.las here
All chased ! why ?

I cleared cashes etc. It’s interesting that from the Sota Link dropdown I can successfully access all topics EXCEPT the Database.
Gary
What updates have you done in the last days?
Which version of MacOS ? Which browser and version?
Catalina 10.15.7 Safari
No updates or changes lately. I Checked the status of my W3 10m challenge
last night and the database worked fine.
I made 8 sota dx 10m contacts early this AM and was able to log them via SOTAWatch3.
When I tried to check the results via database I got a blank page.
Gary
I just impersonated you and your account is working fine for me in this case on W10 and FF browser. The fact your iPhone works and your Mac doesn’t says it’s something to do with your Mac and browser. The last Mac I used was a BondiBlue iMac G3 in 2003 when getting access to Apple headquarters in Cupertino (doing some work on video for the iPod for Apple) and so I’m a bit rusty on Macs and their software!
I know it’s a well known joke but I have you tried rebooting the Mac ?
Hahaha i Was wondering how long that would take!!! I have, yes, but to no avail!
Thanks for all the help it is appreciated!
I can use my phone or my iPad until I get it resolved.
I’m spoiled being able to get summit info and points status instantly through a keyboard.

It may be time to invest in a new Imac
This is almost always browser cache. If clearing hasn’t fixed the issue try with a different browser and/or a private/incognito window
I too am unable to access the database from my laptop (Linux Mint and Chrome browser) but can get to it on my phone (android).
Sotl.as is working for me and the reflector, just not the database.
