Have been “Googling” and searching but not found what I‘m looking for.
Is a crosslist USA SOTA <> County somewhere available? I found a very usable crosslist KFF<>POTA<>COUNTY. Being a new County hunter it would be a great help to determinate SOTA counties

I’d love such as list as well, but haven’t seen one. A complication is that many SOTA summits exist on ridges that delineate US county boundaries, so an activator could be in either of two counties.
The best tool I’ve found, thanks to WW4D, is this website that shows county boundaries on a map. It’s just a matter of entering the summit coordinates (e.g, from sotl.as) in the search box.

A map with boundaries is implimented in GridTracker, that’s no issue. I’m only looking for something less time consuming than playing with coordinates to determinate the county …

Found that one already but again NO COUNTY NAMES ….
I assure you when you have to look up a few Summits all coordinates are looking the same ! lol

Take a look at this excellent example of what I’m looking for : WWFF Park-County DB 2026-Jan-08 It’s about KFF-POTA but that is easy going for checking counties though

Maybe all the unnecessary county data was confusing. Here’s the same SOTA reference to US county name file with just the essential columns SOTA reference, summit name and county name:
