Cross Mode?

Is Cross Mode allowed in SOTA qsos? If so, how should the mode be logged in the activator/chaser log?

I feel sure that cross mode contacts are allowed. I would tend to log my own mode and put a note in the comments column that it was a cross mode contact.

Hi Richard, thanks for the fast reply. I think so, too. The question is if the data system will give credit (*) if the mode in the “mode-field” differs from the one that was logged by the activator.
Anyway, the band/mode recommandations should be followed, which means, for example, that the activator in cw who is ready to accept calls in SSB, too, should (on 40) call in cw above 7.040 - or work split.
