Creag na Ciche - GM/SS-284

This was a late one, not leaving home until late afternoon I was in danger of running out of light, my goal was to get onto the summit before 5pm.

I arrived at the small car park in Little Glenshee at about 4:15pm, the route to the summit is just over a mile, and there’s a track most of the way, about a 20 to 30 minute walk!

I reached the summit at about 5pm and set up the di-pole, tuned for 60m, my first contact was Steve GW7AAV at 17:35 then Brian G4ZRP with the last contact out of the 17 being Tony G4ZIB at 17:58, most stations worked were 5/8 to 5/9+ , most reports back were 5/9, power was 35-40watt from HF-Packer Amp and 11v 4ah Li-Po.

This is an easy summit with a short walk and good parking.

Track to the summit.

Thanks to all the chaser and to Steve GW7AAV for the spot.

In reply to MM0XXP:

Congratulations on bagging this recently added and unactivated summit Alan. Brian told me he was surprised to hear you on so late.
