Tenuous activation on LA/OL-002, Glittertinden today. Unable to stand on the summit owing to the wind, antenna lying on the ground with me lying behind a few small rocks. Wind was supposed to moderate but clearly it had not seen the forecast!
Activation was short and I could hear stations calling but unable to reach you, thanks everyone for trying. Resonant antenna didn’t seem to work well lying over the ground!
Apologies and I’ll try to do better in future, or at least read the weather forecast!
Looks better tomorrow though!
