I’m sorry, despite the superb photo, I can’t tell you which summit you are standing on. How remiss!

Peace on Earth and 73 to you (& all),

Wishing all SOTA participants a Merry Christmas and a Very Happy New Year.

Special thanks to those of you that have consistently supported both Paul G4MD and myself during our joint and solo activations throughout 2008. We have had some great times activating a few rare and many not so rare summits.

Pleased to make the 2m SSB contact with you Rob as GD4RQJ/P activating GD-002 when I was on Pen-crug-melyn GW/MW-036 during our two day south west Wales expedition back in July.

PS Nice card, Luc!

In reply to ALL:

Also from Sweden we wish a Happy Christmas and a Happy New Year to all!

Very low activity here from SM, but I hope to do some activation or two during 2009, among the chasers we have SM6CMU and SM1CXE very active on the bands.

Merry Christmas to everyone I’m not getting to work on my batch of activations over the festive period. Those that I do work are getting - or are supposed to be getting a “-- -…-”, although if my mistake-ridden CW from this morning continues, they’d probably be none-the-wiser.

So, just in case, Merry Christmas to all my callers as well. Enjoy your baltis (or turkeys for those still stuck in the dark ages).

No sign of S4NTA yet, but he is supposed to be QRV from ZL from about 0800z on the 24th.

Hmm… but I’m not sure if the North Pole has a CEPT agreement with ZL.

Merry Xmas all… Marc G0AZS
