Is there a Chaser 500 ‘badge’? Only asking because I passed 500 points recently but no ‘badge’ showing whereas I did get ‘badges’ show up for 100 and 250 points.

Do you log everything from SOTAwatch? If so you wont get the badge.
Only actions logged via the database cause badges to update. As yet there is no easy fix for this. What you need to do is at least once/month is to log via the database webpage not SOTAwatch and all the badges will update. Then you can use the SOTAwatch logging function for the other logging actions during the month.

No, I do both manual logging and SOTAwatch logging but it’s useful to know about this limitation so thank you for that. On this occasion, however, I was just being a numpty

It’s amazing just how many films have paid homage to The Treasure of Sierra Madre over the years. I saw this for the first time not quite 50 years ago when the BBC ran a series of films late at night titled Christmas With Bogart in 1975. For me it was just cool that at Christmas not only was there a school holiday, but Christmas with presents and extra nice food and a chance to burn the house down with my schoolboy soldering but the TV often ran from 8am till 1.30am the next day.
My mother had grown up as a young woman with Bogart films at the local cinema in the 40s/50s and so wasn’t going to pass up the chance to watch him, though TBH she preferred him in his more smoother roles (Sam Spade etc.) So for a week or so around Christmas I watched The Maltese Falcon, The Big Sleep, K ey Largo, The Treasure of Sierra Madre, To have and Have Not and others and become quite addicted to those “proper” Hollywood films. Really 49 years ago? I can clearly remember when The Treasure of Sierra Madre finished early on Christmas morning (about 1am) my mother saying “look at the time, we need to be up soon to cook the turkey.”
