I am considering leasing part of my property for a cell tower. Antennas would probably be at about 180’ AGL and tower probably 75-100 meters behind my yard. I have been on limited summits with towers. Some have caused HF interference and some not. I am thinking the microwave towers seemed to cause more interference but am inquiring if anyone knows whether cell frequencies are likely to cause interference on the amateur HF bands. I anlso expect an higher noise floor.
Add a clause in the contract requiring the lessee to mitigate any electrical or RF noise.
Of course you may be able to tolerate a certain amount of noise depending on how much $$$ they are paying you! I know some cell sites are paying handsome rents in this area.
Good luck!

Hey John. I have not reviewed the proposed lease yet but I know the general terms and that’s a good though about a proposed contract provision. The passive income would be nice.
