Can I correct old links without bumping the topic?

I notice that the path to my old trip reports is now incorrect on reflector after path changes on my server where the PDFs live. I’d like to go back and correct them in case anyone’s looking for info on those locations. I can no longer edit the original posts as they are past whatever date the edit feature cuts out.

Any way I can go in and correct the old links / add a new posts with the new link address without ‘bumping’ all the topics to the top of the reflector?

Matt

A new link to the new server URL, from the old one if it is accessible. ?

It’s all on AWS S3. Not sure if it supports any form of symlink. Will have a google …

Looks like that’s a ‘no’. Only option seems to be to either revert to the old structure or have 2 copies in the two locations.

Ah! Let me think if there is an easy way to do this and get back.

I don’t know how you are using AWS S3, but you ought to be able to use redirect rules then you won’t need to edit your posts. (Optional) Configuring a webpage redirect - Amazon Simple Storage Service

Matt, if you can fix this on your AWS instance let me know or we can work on updating links silently.
