Firstly, sorry for suddenly disappearing. I had two thunder rumbles, mixed with several more major static crashes, then it went VERY dark.
So I went QRT, packed up fast and started to descend. Of course, 10 minutes later the sun came out and there were no more sounds of thunder.
What a cracking hill. A lovely path, with steps where it gets steeper, as per the track from OE5JFE. Just note there is a turn off the main track to head up to the summit. It’s by some rocks which are positioned as seating.
Turn back on yourself here.
Pass the white and yellow “wrong way” sign and continue up to the summit.
I only had contacts on 20m, including a 3 x s2s and a contact to a local chaser on Tenerife.
Some more pics.
