Here are our updates for October 2022.

VE6

VE6 has had a major update. First there are a handful of retirements:

  • VE6/EC-050
  • VE6/HC-244
  • VE6/JS-008
  • VE6/JS-212
  • VE6/JS-297
  • VE6/JS-308
  • VE6/RA-028
  • VE6/ST-049

Name change:
VE6/HC-034 is now “Stoney Woman Mountain”

A few summits have a position tweak (within their AZ):

  • VE6/BK-049
  • VE6/EC-028
  • VE6/HC-170
  • VE6/HC-180
  • VE6/RJ-013
  • VE6/ST-056
  • VE6/VC-028

Finally, there are 994 new summits. I’m not going to list them all here!

Many thanks to VE6 AM Ian, VE6IXD, and his team for helping to check these.

We still have some work left to do on refinements to the older summits so you can expect a smaller update to come.

OZ AM

Welcome to new AM for OZ, Denmark, Soren, OZ1LQO. Thanks also to out-going AM Peter, OZ1LFI.

F/AM-301 / F/AM-843 Séolane des Besses

We’ve replaced the old 301 ref with the new one at a higher spot height further along the ridge.

Cough, cough, I feel the need to call in sick to go hiking for a month or two.

Hello the height has not been changed (old 2402, new 2408).
