Heads up for those planning activations this weekend. The ARRL CW contest is this weekend. Starting 0000Z 17 February to 2400Z 18 February. Please consider using The WARC bands 60, 30, and 17 meters. If you still want to use the regular bands , try going up higher in the bands, such as 7.120 in the USA. Also it’s possible to run CW in the SSB portion, if you have an open frequency. We chasers will try to work you no matter where you set up shop. Unless you have very good filters in your rigs though it will be tough to pull you out if you QRZ next to a KW contest station with a beam. Wishing you all the best this weekend.
