Andy MM0USU SK

Very sorry to hear the news. On our first Scottish tour last year, Andy was a frequent chaser and, when activating lesser summits on 2m FM, did all he could to ensure that I gained the necessary contacts.

Always cheerful and friendly and I was looking forward to further chats when we went over the border again. He was the chaser that I remembered the most from our visit. He is obviously missed by many of the SOTA community. Our sincere condolences to the family.

In reply to MM0FMF:
First, thanks Andy for informing us all. I hope you have the ability to pass all these comments onto his family.

How very sad I am to hear this news. Andy, of course, never mentioned he was unwell. Our last contact was on 40m from Devon just a month ago and he sounded fine. I will always be most grateful to Andy for coming back to my plaintive 2M FM calls in the Highlands.

RIP. Condolences to friends and family.
