Yesterday 24 March Andrew VK1AD reached the triple goat score of 3000, activating Sam Hill in Victoria Australia.
I look forward to many more joint activations, the confusion we cause is somewhat amusing.
Andrew has activated since 1st Feb 2013 when vk1 joined the SOTA world. He was association manger for those first years and is regarded as the source of info and help, in antennas, feedlines, radios and navigation. The VK1 SOTA mailing list on groups.io has a lot of content contributed by him.

Achieving an activator milestone is a team effort involving hundreds of chasers and thousands of VK and DX activator S2S QSOs, including the unique VK and DX Andrew to Andrew S2S contacts
I’m looking forward to achieving the next milestone with the involvement of the SOTA community here in Australia and the DX friends.
