On July 23, 2021 Wiola SQ9NOT with her husband Leszek SQ9MDF made an amazing activation four peaks of Mount Olympus (yes, this from mythology) in Greece:
- SV/TL-004 Ag. Antonios (2816 m);
- SV/MC-042 Skolio (2905 m);
- SV/TL-001 Mytikas (2918 m);
- SV/TL-002 Prof. Ilias (2788 m).
They did it in one day, leaving the Prioni parking and returning to it, distance approx. 22 km, altitude total approx. 2400 m (ascent&descent), in about 17 hours (only) and carrying out an average of 32 qso/peak on the SSB. I would just like to add that human fitness and the amount of oxygen at an altitude of approx. 3000 m is completely different than at an altitude of approx. 2000 m.
